Al-Sadr Appoints New Leaders For The Peace Brigades (Saraya Al-Salam)

Najaf The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued directives to appoint new leaders for the Peace Brigades (Saraya al-Salam).

A document, signed and sealed by al-Sadr, stated that Abu Mustafa al-Hamidawi was appointed in charge of Saraya al-Salam with all its details, and Ali Sharhan as his deputy.

Al-Sadr directed to take care of Saraya al-Salam fighters and the families of the martyrs.

Al-Sadr ended his directive that the appointment of the new leaders is for a period of three years.
