Najaf The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, called not to interfere in Iraq’s internal affairs, and not to involve it in regional conflicts.
Al-Sadr said in a tweet on Twitter: “We do not want to plunge Iraq and the Iraqis into the furnace of war and murder, even though we support all neighboring countries in their plight in a way that does not harm Iraq and its people.”
He added that the first foundations of good neighborliness are non-interference in the country’s internal affairs and cooperation in overcoming common difficulties and not involving the neighbor in unnecessary problems, and that cooperation should be on one level without arrogance or subordination.”
