MP Muhammad Saadoun Al-Saihoud warned against trying to attach the issue of border demarcation between Iraq and Kuwait to al-Sudani government with the intention of targeting it and striking at its successes.
Al-Saihoud said in a press statement today that: Iraq has witnessed political, security, economic and social stability over the past six months that followed the process of forming the government, but the success of al-Sudani government and the stability of the country do not appeal to the enemies of Iraq, and therefore the series began to raise the exchange rate of the dollar, passing by striking electric power towers and provocation of the security forces, the latest of which is fueling the street under the pretext of selling the Umm Qasr district to Kuwait.
He added, "the issue of border demarcation with Kuwait is a UN resolution dating back to 1993, and therefore Al-Sudani government is not a party to it, and the rumors, lies and theories that are being circulated stem from poisonous ideas and inherited grudges transmitted by the weak-minded and the failed, and implemented by internal and external agendas that do not want the government of Al-Sudani success, just as it does not want stability for Iraq and its people, and they are parties that live on chaos, destruction and fighting, and they are basically against the return of the prestige of the state and its institutions.
