Al-Salihi Demands Not To Make Kirkuk An Arena For Political Conflict

Kirkuk Head of the Turkmen Parliamentary Bloc, Representative Arshad al-Salihi, condemned the attack that targeted the office of the second deputy speaker of the Iraqi parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, in the Rahimawa area in Kirkuk.

In a statement, Al-Salihi called for a rapid investigation to hold those involved in this attack accountable, calling for not making Kirkuk an arena for political conflict between the conflicting forces in the talks to form the new government.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces also called for supporting the province with more federal military units to enhance security and to miss the opportunity for anyone who seeks to manipulate security and stability in Kirkuk.
