Al-Sistani Offers Condolences On The Death Of Al-Hakim: Al-Hawza Lost One Of Its Prominent Figures And Scholars

Najaf The supreme Religious Authority , Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, offered his condolences on the death of, Sayyid Muhammad Saeed al-Hakim.

Al-Sistani said in a telegram of condolences: “I received with great sadness and regret the news of the death of the divine scholar, the jurist of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Saeed al-Tabataba’i al-Hakim (may God be pleased with him”

He added: “The Hawza in Najaf has lost one of its prominent figures and scholars, who dedicated his honorable soul to the support of religion and doctrine and dedicated his blessed life to serving science and its people, and left a great scientific heritage that enjoys a lofty stature.”

He continued: “I offer my condolences, in this great affliction, to our Imam, the master of the era (our souls may be sacrificed for him), the scholarly seminaries (Hawza), the family of the deceased – especially his honorable brothers and his honorable sons – and the believers in general, I ask God Almighty to raise his rank in Paradise and gather him with, Muhammad and his pure family and inspire his family and those who love him patience and solace. There is no power or strength except with God, the Most High, the Great.”
