The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, chaired Today, Monday, a meeting dedicated to discussing the service and infrastructure projects to be completed within the Federal General budget, for the governorates of Babylon and Muthanna, in the presence of the relevant Ministers, Governors and Directors of service and specialized departments in the two governorates.
During the meeting, according to a statement by his media office, the planned projects were reviewed, and the precedence of implementation was discussed, as the Prime Minister renewed his directives to give priority to infrastructure projects, to avoid intersection with subsequent service projects, and to finance the most important of these projects, in order for the citizen to touch the service he is looking forward to, without stumbling, delaying or postponing.
The Prime Minister also directed giving priority to funding for infrastructure projects that have come a long way in completion, stressing the need to adhere to the timings and deadlines for implementation and to avoid delay for administrative or technical reasons that can be remedied.
It was decided, during the meeting, to start implementing five sanitation projects in the city of Samawah and the rest of the districts of the governorate, while the allocations of Babylon Governorate covered most of the service sectors with proposed projects at the level of the governorate center, and districts.
He stressed the need to complete the water treatment plants that are currently under implementation in more than one district of Babylon Governorate, and to start implementing the remaining sewage network projects./ End
