Baghdad The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, directed the simplification of procedures for merchants’ dealings in the concerned state departments, stressing that this stage, despite its difficulty, is a gateway to economic reform.
A statement by his media office stated thatAl-Sudani presided today, Thursday, the second meeting of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the Association of Iraqi Banks, as well as other bodies; Taxes, customs, border crossings, and the Central Bank.
According to the statement, the meeting witnessed a discussion of the economic situation at the national level in light of the fluctuations in the exchange rate, and its effects on the Iraqi market.
