Baghdad The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, visited, on Sunday evening, the Hematology and Oncology Center at Protection Children Teaching Hospital in the Medical City in the capital, Baghdad. His visit coincides with the International Children’s Day.

Al-Sudani inspected the hospital’s corridors, its mechanisms of operation, and the level of medical and treatment services provided to hospitalized children. He also listened to the complaints of patients’ families regarding some of the needs and requirements of their patients.

The Prime Minister affirmed that providing treatment in government hospitals is one of the priorities of the government’s work for the next stage. This is a real suffering for families, especially the poor and those with limited income.

Al-Sudani directed the Ministry of Health to implement the approach set by the government in developing the health sector in all its aspects, foremost of which is providing and facilitating treatment in government hospitals, and relieving the burden of patients and their families.
