Al-Sudani praises from Diwaniyah the role of all Iraqi clans in maintaining civil peace

Baghdad Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani expressed pride in the role played by all Iraqi tribes in maintaining civil peace.

A statement by his media office stated that Al-Sudani met today, during his visit to Diwaniyah governorate, a group of the tribal sheikhs and dignitaries from the governorate, expressing during the meeting his pride in the role played by all the honorable Iraqi tribes in maintaining civil peace, and urging them to do more to support the enforcement of law and the performance of their duties by the security forces.

The Prime Minister said: The selection of Diwaniyah comes based on a prior diagnosis of the extent of the need for services and infrastructure projects. He referred to the formation of a ministerial committee located in Diwaniyah, with the powers to examine all projects in order to find solutions to lagging projects and remove obstacles.

For their part, the tribal sheikhs and dignitaries expressed their thanks to the Prime Minister, for choosing Al-Diwaniyah Governorate as the first station among the governorates, a point that coincides with his vision and priorities that focus on the service aspect.
