Advisor to the Prime Minister for Women’s Affairs, Ala Talabani, confirmed that celebrating the Newroz holidays from the capital is the greatest message to the region and the world as a whole that Baghdad is the capital of everyone.

Talabani said in a speech during the celebration of “Baghdad’s First Newroz Festival – 2023”, which started this evening, Monday, on the grounds of Al-Zawraa Park, and in the coming years, with the efforts of benefactors and kind people.

She added, “Your Kurdish brothers will light this day the flame of Newroz in the parts of Kurdistan, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk, Erbil, Zakho, and in Kirkuk, and you will light the flame of Newroz with them from the capital, and this is the greatest and biggest message we deliver to the world and the region as a whole and to your Kurdish brothers, we are one people and Baghdad is the capital of all
