Baghdad The United Arab Emirates announced, today, Monday, the inclusion of 38 individuals and 15 entities in the approved list of persons and entities supporting terrorism, according to a decision issued by the Council of Ministers No. 83 of 2012.
According to the official Emirates News Agency, WAM, the Cabinet issued the decision, within the framework of the UAE’s keenness to target and disrupt networks associated with the financing of terrorism and its accompanying activities.
The decision demanded: all supervisory authorities to follow up and account for any individuals or entities affiliated with or associated with any financial, commercial or technical relationship, and to take the necessary measures according to the laws in force in the country in less than 24 hours.
The list included two Iraqis, Haider Habib Ali and Bassem Youssef Hussein al-Shaghani.
