An Earthquake hits eastern Turkey

Baghdad The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Department (AFAD) reported, at dawn today, that an earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale hit the state of Arzanjan, in the east of the country.

In a statement, AFAD stated that the earthquake occurred in the district of “Otluq Bali” in the mentioned state at 00:37 local time, at a depth of 7.34 kilometers.

Anatoly News Agency indicated that there was no immediate news of any material or human losses as a result of the tremor.
