Baghdad Director of the Future Iraq Foundation for Economic Studies, Manar Al-Obaidi, ruled out achieving non-oil revenues more than 33% of Iraq’s non-oil revenues plan.
Al-Obaidi told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) “it is not expected that non-oil revenues will achieve more than 33% of the non-oil revenues plan, as it is not expected that non-oil revenues will exceed the 7 trillion dinars barrier, while the planned budget is 20 trillion dinars.”
He pointed out that “the total non-oil revenues until the month of July amounted to only 3.9 trillion dinars, and it is expected that the percentage of achieving oil revenues will exceed 120% of the planned in the 2021 budget to reach 97 trillion dinars, while what was planned for oil revenues 81 trillion dinars, and therefore the total revenues will reach for the Iraqi government for the year 2021, up to 104 trillion dinars
