An Iranian Military Commander confirmed that the Iraqi and Syrian armies are strategic depth for Iran

The Iraqi and Syrian armies are a strategic depth of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Hussein Salami, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guard, said.

“Iran has the ability to confront the biggest threats and the greatest enemy, the US, and in the war we realized that there is no committed ally,” said Salami in an interview with Iranian television.

He added: We must rely on our own potential to produce capacity and must achieve victory.

“We have studied all the strengths of the US, and we have accurately assessed the strengths and weaknesses of the enemy, and we have knowledge of all of America’s air and naval capabilities in the outskirts of Iran, he continued.

“Iran considers the military option to be a reality, whether or not the enemy declares it,” he said.

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Revolutionary Guard said that the accuracy of Iranian ballistic missiles had been increased to target US aircraft carriers in any possible confrontation before entering the battlefield.
