An Iraqi deported on suspicion of belonging to ISIS in the Turkish state of Samsun

Istanbul The Public Prosecution Office in Samsun state, northern Turkey, decided to deport an Iraqi citizen who was arrested earlier, on suspicion of belonging to the terrorist organization “ISIS”.

The Turkish police said in a statement today that the Anti-terrorism elements of the Samsun Security Directorate arrested the Iraqi citizen earlier, and after interrogating him and collecting evidence, it was confirmed that he belonged to the terrorist organization ISIS and that he joined the ranks of the organization in Syria and Iraq.

It indicated that it seized documents and digital documents in the house where the suspect was present.

Following the completion of the investigation with him in the Security Directorate, the Public Prosecution Office in Samsun decided to deport the suspect to Iraq.
