An Iraqi-Iranian trade forum in Najaf

Najaf The Najaf Chamber of Commerce organized an Iraqi-Iranian trade forum with the participation of 40 personalities from the heads of the Chambers of Commerce of the border areas with Iraq.

The Head of the Najaf Chamber of Commerce, Haider Al-Adhari, said, “the forum was attended by those with commercial, industrial, agricultural and investment competences from both sides.

Al-Adhari added, “It resulted in a number of important outputs to facilitate commercial and industrial cooperation between the two countries, noting that the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce concluded a memorandum of understanding with its Iranian counterpart to legally codify commercial contracts between the two sides, which will be binding on both parties.”

For his part, the head of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Minerals and Agriculture, Gholam Shafei, said that there are many good issues raised by the Iraqi side, stressing the importance of cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries and the need to activate it through cooperation with specialized professional traders. He stressed the role of the chambers of commerce in the two countries to submit a recommendation and introduce the sober merchant to prevent problems that occur due to emergency people who entered the field of trade exchange between the two countries
