Ankara affirms its support for the unity of Iraq, and announces the establishment of a workshop for Turkish companies in Kirkuk

Kirkuk The Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Al-Jubouri, discussed with the new Ambassador of the Turkish Republic to Iraq, Ali Reza Kunai, efforts to enhance economic and cultural cooperation between Iraq and neighboring Turkey, because of their positive impact on the citizens of Kirkuk.

A statement on the governor of Kirkuk stated that during the meeting, it was agreed to hold a workshop in the coming period in Kirkuk governorate, with the participation of 70 Turkish companies operating in Iraq.

The governor gave a presentation on the reconstruction efforts and projects that the Kirkuk Administration is carrying out with the support of the federal government and the Cabinet in line with the plans of the Prime Minister and his keenness to secure the best services and implement projects … stressing the importance of the contribution of Turkish companies and investors in Kirkuk, which is witnessing security, stability and coexistence, stressing the importance of supporting Turkey for efforts to rebuild the liberated areas in Kirkuk.

The Turkish Ambassador to Iraq confirmed that the first flight that will land at Kirkuk airport will be from Turkish Airlines, and we will remain supportive of Iraq and its territorial integrity, and work to strengthen rapprochement between Turkey and Iraq in a way that enhances the interests of the two neighboring countries and peoples.
