Anti-crime Directorate arrests two persons accused of stealing women’s bags in Baghdad

Baghdad, Detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate arrested two suspects of stealing women’s bags in Baghdad.

The Directorate stated in a statement: “The detachments of Al-Quds Office for Combating Crime arrested suspects of stealing women’s bags in the Rusafa side of the capital, after a female complainant for the theft of her bag by two unknown persons riding a motorcycle.”

She added: “Investigation took place, information was collected, they were reached, and they were arrested in a tight ambush. Upon interrogation with them, they confessed that they had stolen the bag and inside it (a sum of money, golden accessories, and a mobile device), in addition to carrying out other thefts, and they were seized in their possession an unlicensed firearm and narcotics.”
