Army Chief Of Staff Praises French Great Role Within The Int’l Coalition

Baghdad The Army Chief of Staff, First Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, received, in his office, the Head of the National Defense and Armed Forces Committee in the French Parliament, Mrs. Francoise Dumas, and her accompanying delegation.

The Chief of Staff of the Army praised, according to a statement by the Ministry of Defense, the great role of the French forces within the international coalition, which provided all forms of military, training and humanitarian support during the military campaign that our armed forces waged against the terrorist organization ISIS, which lasted until the liberation of the last inch of our lands.

For her part, the head of the National Defense Committee and the Armed Forces in the French Parliament affirmed: “Iraq and France enjoy strong and great relations in all fields,” indicating: “France continues to assist the Iraqi side on the military and training level within the NATO mission forces.”
