Army Chief of Staff Receives A Message From His UAE Counterpart

Baghdad The Army Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Rashid Yarallah, received a message from the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, Lieutenant-General Hamad Muhammad Thani Al-Rumaithi.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense stated that, on Wednesday, Yarallah received, in his office at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Salem Issa Ali Al Qattam Al Zaabi, “who handed him a message from the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, Lieutenant-General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi.”

According to the statement, the two sides discussed ways to develop joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two countries in the military aspects and ways to develop security cooperation. They also discuss issues of common interest.
