Baghdad The Iraqi athlete, Asia Aziz, won the bronze medal in the women’s spear throwing race in the ongoing Arab Championship, its competition in Tunisia.
Asia Aziz, threw the spear for a distance of 35.36m, to take the third place, after the Tunisian athlete who came first and the Egyptian in second place.
Iraq’s tally rises to a gold and a bronze on the first day of the tournament.
