Asian Parliamentary Assembly Committee Recommends Actions to Halt Zionist Violations

Baghdad: The Permanent Political Affairs Committee of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, after convening today in Baghdad, has issued a series of recommendations aimed at addressing and stopping humanitarian violations and crimes in the occupied Palestinian territories by the Zionist entity. These recommendations were formulated to be communicated to the international community.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the list of recommendations includes several key points: emphasizing the right of the Palestinian people to legitimate resistance and the establishment of an independent state with al-Quds as its capital; calling for an immediate and unconditional halt to all acts of aggression; lifting the siege on Gaza and providing urgent relief to the Palestinian people; and establishing a fund for reconstructing cities destroyed by Zionist actions. Additionally, the committee urges the international community to adopt uniform standards in addressing similar issues and to exert pressure to cease the ongoing war, which threatens peace and security in the Middle East. The recommendations also include calls for full United Nations membership for Palestine, rejection of annexation plans in the Palestinian territories, and ending occupation and aggression in Palestinian, Syrian, and Lebanese lands. The committee also seeks the release of all Palestinian and Arab prisoners and urges the International Criminal Court to investigate war crimes committed in Gaza, along with a call to remove the Zionist entity from the International Parliament's Anti-Terrorism Committee.
