Baghdad Anti-Crime: A number of persons accused of murder, kidnapping and robbery arrested in separate areas of the capital

Baghdad The Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate has arrested a number of persons accused of murder, kidnapping and theft in separate areas of the capital.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the detachments of the New Baghdad Anti-Crime Office had arrested a suspect who had committed the crime of murder, as his statements were recorded in the preliminary and judicial confession, and the investigating judge decided to stop him in accordance with the provisions of Article 406 of P.C., while the detachments of the Anti-Crime Office arrested a suspect for kidnapping a young man in the Husseiniya area, east of the capital, Baghdad, and legal measures have been taken against him and his arrest in accordance with the provisions of Article 421 P.C.

It added that our detachments carried out arrest warrants against a number of suspects for stealing sums of money, residential homes, and (tak-tok) motorcycles during the security practices carried out by our detachments during the past 24 hours on the Karkh and Rusafa sides of the capital, Baghdad, within the offices of Karrada combating crime, and Hussainiyyat al-Ma’mal. , Al-Quds, Al-Taji, Al-Ghazaliyya, Al-Hurriya, and Al-Mahmoudiya, and they were brought to court.
