Baghdad Operations Command begins implementing the orders and directives of the higher military references and takes deterrent measures against violators

Baghdad The Baghdad Operations Command announced the direct implementation of orders and directives issued by the higher military references and taking deterrent measures against violators.

A statement by the Security Media Cell stated, “In light of the directives of the Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and the outcomes of the emergency security meeting that was held yesterday and chaired by him, the security units in the Baghdad Operations Command, represented by detachments from the army, police and traffic, and according to the plans drawn for them, began operations with searching, inspecting, setting up sudden checks and taking legal measures regarding violators of those orders and procedures on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa, which aim to impose the rule of law and protect infrastructure and public and private property, in order to miss the opportunity for those who are tempted to tamper with the security of citizens and harm societal peace in the capital, Baghdad.

The Baghdad Operations Command called on citizens to cooperate and fully comply with the security forces, to avoid being subjected to legal accountability in case they violate these directives, orders and instructions.
