Baghdad The Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of the terrorist “Abu Jawhara” and other defendants, according to various legal articles, on both sides of Karkh and Rusafa.

A statement by the leadership stated, that a force from the Second Division, Federal Police, arrested a suspect in accordance with Article 4/1 of terrorism, nicknamed “Abu Jawhara”, who lives in Fallujah district and is with his relatives in the Ghazaliya area. A force from the 59th Brigade, in cooperation with the Directorate of Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism, also arrested an accused person, according to Article 4, was charged with terrorism north of Baghdad, while unlicensed weapons and ammunition were seized during the implementation of a number of search and inspection duties within the Karkh sector.

It added that a force from the (27) Brigade arrested two accused of forgery, and seized in their possession an amount of 3 million forged Iraqi dinars, in the Mansour area of Baghdad, while the Baghdad police detachments arrested three accused, one of them according to Article 4/1 of terrorism and others according to other legal articles. . the arrest of six people accused of murder; the promotion and use of drugs by the first and second divisions of the Federal Police.

It explained that the anti-explosives detachments “Baghdad Saqr” managed to treat two grenades that were thrown on the side of the road in the Kamaliah area, east of Baghdad, without incident, as well as an explosive device placed in front of a residential house in Al-Hussainiya area, northeast of Baghdad.

It continued, “the joint detachments in the Baghdad Operations Command were able to arrest three accused, one of them with crimes of drug promotion and use, and the others with other legal materials, with the seizure of a quantity of narcotic crystal and the confiscation of (6) pistols and two M16 rifles, and (379) ammunition of different types.
