Basra Operations Commander confirms reaching the end point in eliminating clan conflicts

Basra The Commander of Basra operations, Major General Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Majidi, confirmed that the activation of arrest warrants and the continuous pursuit of wanted persons reflects the positive side of the city, pointing out that this prevents clan fighting, especially if the wanted person or the killer is in the grip of the security forces and the judiciary.

The Operations Commander stressed, during his field visit to the areas north of Basra, “to support the security situation in those areas and to prevent any security breach, whether on the clan side or otherwise.”

He added, “One of the most important reasons for clan disputes is the failure or delay in arresting the killer, and the reasons are many, the most important of which is escaping from the division of responsibility, which leads to the ire of the victim against the perpetrator.”
