Basra Police ended an armed clan conflict and arrested 25 of the perpetrators

Basra Basra Police managed to resolve a tribal conflict in Al-Maaqal area and arrest the perpetrators of the conflict.

The Basra Police Command stated in a statement that a force headed to the scene of the accident, conducted a search operation, took control of the conflict and arrested 25 accused from both sides of the conflict between two clans in Al-Maaqal area in the center of Basra.”

It added, “Seven vehicles, two Kalashnikov rifles, an M4 rifle and various stores were seized.
The Command indicated that the accused were referred to the concerned authorities for the purpose of completing the legal procedures.
