Baghdad Baghdad Operations Command held an expanded conference for the dignitaries and sheikhs of the southern regions of Baghdad in Sadr Al-Yousifiya area.

A statement by the leadership of BOC stated that the conference discussed the support of the security forces in limiting weapons in the hands of the state and work to reduce the phenomenon of clan conflicts and squatters in accordance with pacts and covenants that were confirmed by all those present.

It pointed out that most of the topics of interest to Iraqi society were referred to, including the fight against drugs and addressing their negative impact on societal peace, exaggerations in tribal penalty and other topics.

The attendees affirmed that the clans pledge to be the backing behind our security forces and the safety valve to maintain the unity of the ranks, security and stability in their areas
