Baghdad British Defense Minister Ben Wallace arrived in Moscow, where he will hold talks today, Friday, with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu, against the backdrop of the escalation over Ukraine.
The British Embassy in Russia confirmed on its Telegram channel today, Friday, that Wallace had arrived in Moscow, noting that the Minister, in addition to meeting with Shoigu, would place flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the Kremlin wall.
This visit comes a day after Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov received his British counterpart Elizabeth Terrace in Moscow.
