Baghdad British Foreign Minister Dominic Raab affirmed that “Iraq has a starting point towards a better future.”

Raab said in a televised statement: “I discussed with Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi the steps of the white paper and economic reforms,” noting that there are opportunities for investment in Iraq, especially if the appropriate conditions are available for it.”

He added that Britain supports the war against ISIS, supports Iraq and trains its military and security forces.

The British Minister pointed out that the Iraqi security forces practice their duties professionally, are responsible to their people and can achieve security in their country.”
