Baghdad The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, met today, Friday, in London, with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Barzani arrived today, Wednesday, in London, the capital of the United Kingdom, on an official visit, during which he met the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense and other British officials.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region stated that in a friendly meeting, the British Prime Minister expressed his happiness at receiving the President of the Kurdistan Region, and his thanks for the latter’s visit to London, stressing that the United Kingdom looks with great importance the relationship with the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, and that this relationship extends to before 30 years since the establishment of the safe haven in the Kurdistan region, which Britain has continued to defend through support and strengthening the relationship.
