Baghdad US President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by phone, Wednesday, that he expects a major lull in violence between Israel and Hamas today, to put the two sides on the path of a ceasefire.
The White House said in a statement, that: Biden told the Israeli Prime Minister that he expects a great calm today, on the way to a cease-fire.
This is the first time that Biden has set a deadline that he would like to see a reduction in the ongoing violence in the Middle East for more than a week.
