Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Middle East News Agency to NINA : Neighboring countries are keen for Iraq to take a leading role in the regionG

Baghdad Chairman of the Board of Directors and Editor-in-Chief of the International Middle East News Agency, Ali Hassan, said that the new Iraq confirms to the world its keenness for the language of common interests and mutual trust to be an alternative to the language of rivalry and conflicts in the region.

In a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA), Hassan said, “We found Iraq today enjoying a great deal of stability and security more than before, as we all look forward to achieving complete stability in Iraq.”

He added, “today we are in a new Iraq that extends the hand of cooperation to its brothers and its surroundings from the neighboring countries and assures the world of its keenness that the language of common interests and mutual trust be an alternative to the language of rivalry and conflicts in the region that prevailed during the past decades,” noting that “the neighborhood of Iraq extends the hand of cooperation towards ” secure and prosperous Iraq, as well as the brotherly and friendly Arab countries respond to the call of this conference in order to achieve stability in Iraq.

Hassan explained, “there is great Egyptian interest in the success of the Baghdad conference, embodied in the arrival of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to Baghdad at the head of a high-level delegation,” noting that there is a mutual interest in neighboring countries and an important appreciation for Iraq to take its leading role towards more security and stability.
