Baghdad Lieutenant-General Mohammed Hamid Al-Bayati, head of the security committee responsible for managing the security file of the Baghdad Conference for Cooperation and Partnership, announced the success of the conference’s security plan.
Al-Bayati said in a press statement that the procedures for securing the conference were flexible, and the capital did not witness large cuts in the main streets or any curfew.
He added that the committee relied on professional leadership, calm and careful intelligence effort.
Al-Bayati thanked all the security forces that contributed to this successful plan.
