Sulaymaniyah – The Change Movement stressed the need to form a national rescue government to manage the current stage experienced by the Kurdistan region.
“The current government should be dissolved and a national rescue government should be formed with the participation of the political parties to calm the internal situation in the region,” said Abdul Razzaq Sharif, a spokesman for the Change Movement in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA).
Sharif added: “The change movement calls for dissolving the Supreme Political Council in the Kurdistan region, which had managed the referendum,” accusing the current government of failure.
The Kurdistan region lives in turbulent conditions, while the political parties exchanged accusations among themselves about the recent events in Kirkuk.
