The Chinese Ambassador to Iraq, Cui Wei, affirmed the depth of the Chinese-Iraqi relations, indicating that they are historical relations and are linked to commercial and economic interests.
The Chinese Ambassador spoke at a symposium at Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue entitled "Prospects of Iraqi-Chinese Relations in Light of International Changes", about the Sino-Iraqi relations, especially the large presence of Chinese companies in Iraq in various sectors, especially the energy and electricity sector, noting the high commercial cooperation between Iraq and China, as China constitutes the largest commercial source for Iraq.
The Ambassador made a tour in Najaf, during which he visited the shrine of Imam Ali (PBUH) in the old city.
