Baghdad  Civil Defense Directorateteams put out a fire that broke out in commercial markets in Al-Kilani area in central Baghdad.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the Civil Defense teams rescued a family of five members from an apartment after burning large markets for selling foodstuffs below that apartment in a three-storey commercial building in e Al-Kilani area in central Baghdad.

It explained that the civil defense teams evacuated the apartment from its occupants and rescued an elderly man who was suffering from suffocation, in order to secure his transfer to the nearby hospital for treatment, in conjunction with the operations of extinguishing and controlling the fire inside the commercial markets, so that the civil defense teams ended the accident without recording human losses
