Baghdad The civil defense teams succeeded in extinguishing the fire of an electric generator placed on the roof of a five-storey hotel building in Karrada area near the National Theater in central Baghdad.

The Civil Defense Directorate said that it had mobilized its teams and proceeded to evacuate the hotel building from the guests in conjunction with the implementation of the extinguishing operations by using the ladder wheel designated for high buildings in addition to the specialized firefighting vehicles to finish the extinguishing work without recording human casualties.
