Civil Defense teams put out a fire in Sadr City

Baghdad The Civil Defense Directorate announced that a fire broke out in the first market in Al-Sadr City, east of the capital, Baghdad.

The Directorate said, in a statement, that “Civil Defense teams controlled a fire that broke out inside a number of adjacent shops built from a highly flammable sandwich panels in the first market in Sadr City, east of Baghdad.”

The statement added, “The teams cordoned off and isolated the fire and removed its danger from shops and commercial buildings, and put out the fire without recording injuries or human losses.”
