Baquba The Directorate of Al-Saadiya district in Diyala governorate announced the closure of the forced displacement file after the return of all families to their areas in the district.
A source in the district told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / today that the file of forced displacement in the Saadiya district, northeast of Baquba, was completely closed after approvals and security checks were completed for the return of the remaining displaced families, and there are no displaced families that do not have official approvals.
He added that the closure of the displacement file in the district came after exceptional efforts of the departments, including the security services, but most of the displaced families live outside their liberated areas, waiting for compensation to rebuild their damaged homes. He stressed that the return of the displaced families to their homes reflects positively on the security file in seizing the land and ending the difficult suffering they experienced during the period of forced displacement
