More than 700 displaced families returned to their homes in Al-Saadiya district in Diyala Governorate.

The Director of Al-Saadiya district, Ahmed Al-Zarkushi, told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that more than 700 displaced families from the villages of Al-Saadiya district, northeast of Baqubah, returned to their homes after their security files were audited and service components were prepared.

He added that the displaced families returning to the Saadiya district represent the last batch after they were unable to return during the past years due to the lack of service conditions and the damage caused by terrorist groups.
