Baghdad The American “Johns Hopkins University” announced that the number of confirmed infections with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19) around the world has risen to 305 million, one thousand and 300 cases.

In the latest statistics published by the university, on its website, this morning, Sunday, the university said that the total deaths due to infection with the virus around the world rose to 5,484,251 deaths.

It added that the United States recorded the largest number of cases around the world, which amounted to more than 59.7 million infections, while India’s toll exceeded 35.3 million cases, ranking second, followed by Brazil with more than 22.3 million cases.

According to the latest data, the United States topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to infection with the virus, with 837,262 deaths, followed by Brazil in second place with 619,654 deaths, and then India in third place, with a total of 483,463 deaths.
