Baghdad For the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, the daily infections toll from the Corona virus in Russia exceeded the 120,000, while the new death toll from the epidemic fell to its lowest level in seven months.
According to “Russia Today”, the Operations Room to combat the coronavirus outbreak in Russia announced today, Sunday, that it had recorded 121,228 new cases of infection during the past 24 hours (compared to 113,122 cases yesterday), which represents the tenth unprecedented jump in the outcome in a row.
Of these new infections, 24,030 cases in the capital, Moscow, while the country’s second largest city, St. Petersburg and the Moscow Region, recorded a new unprecedented increase in the outcome with 17,833 infections and 11,434 infections.
The death toll from Corona in the country increased since yesterday by 617 new deaths (compared to 668 deaths the previous day), which represents the lowest toll since last June 28.
Since yesterday, 28,944 patients in Russia have recovered from the “Covid-19” disease caused by Corona.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, the country has recorded a total of 11,737,077 confirmed cases of corona, including 330,728 deaths and 10,218,151 cases of recovery.
