Baghdad The Iraqi team won the gold medal in the women’s 100m race in the ongoing Arab Athletics Championships, which is being held in Tunisia, through runner Dana Hussein.
Runner Dana Hussein managed to snatch the gold in a time of 11.23 seconds to break the Iraqi record and won the Arab gold, while the Lebanese runner came second and the Egyptian third.
Dana Hussein raised Iraq’s tally of medals to 5, three gold and two bronze in the Arab Championship.
