Baquba The Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari, arrived in Diyala Governorate.
A security source told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA): “Al-Shammari met with the provincial operations commander, police chief and leaders of other security services, to discuss security plans for securing the elections and the Arbaeen visit.”
