Dhurgham Al-Maliki to / NINA /: Passing the important laws in Parliament will be after deciding the presidency of the Parliamentary Committees

Baghdad The MP for the State Administration Coalition, Dhurgham Al-Maliki, affirmed that the passage of important laws in Parliament will be after deciding the presidency of Parliamentary committees.

Al-Maliki said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the parties to the State Administration Coalition agreed on a number of paragraphs that led to the installation of the President of the Republic, the formation of the government, and the approval of some important laws, which will be studied in the relevant committees in order to legislate them.

He explained that the Parliament is working to resolve the presidency of Parliamentary committees, their deputies, and the rapporteur, then each committee proposes important or obstructed laws to the Presidency of the House of Representatives in order to legislate them.

He stressed that the oil and gas law was withdrawn from parliament by the government in order to study it again and involve experts and then political consensus and the final stage of its approval in Parliament.

Al-Maliki suggested resolving the issue of chairing parliamentary committees next week in order to devote himself to approving laws.
