Baghdad The Director of US National Intelligence, Avril Haines, confirmed that: The most dangerous threat comes from Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Somalia, not Afghanistan.
Avril said at a conference on national security in the suburbs of Washington: We do not put Afghanistan at the top of the list of priorities … We look at Yemen, Somalia, Syria and Iraq as the most serious threats.
She indicated that: Intelligence collection inside Afghanistan has declined since the US withdrawal.
