Baquba The official spokesman for the Popular Mobilization Operations Command, Sadiq Al-Husseini, called on the neighboring provinces of Diyala to prepare effective security plans and programs to protect the security center of gravity in Iraq.

He told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / today that “the neighboring provinces of Diyala are not performing their security duties in the required manner, and the security forces in the province cannot secure and protect an entire area teeming with soft and hot spaces, especially Salah al-Din, Kirkuk, and the south of the province at the outskirts of Baghdad.

He added that Diyala’s security duty is to secure 180 degrees from its surroundings, and the rest falls within the responsibilities of the neighboring provinces, and that Diyala does not have the ability to address and contain all axes without the cooperation of the three provinces. He pointed out that terrorist groups are adopting a dangerous military policy by focusing on Diyala to be a springboard for the fall of other regions and governorates.
