DMC: Iraqi Young Woman Among 100 Technical Women In The World Who Deserve To Be Watched

The Digital Media Center DMC announced that the American “Women Who Code” organization has placed the name of the Iraqi young woman, “Fatima Hassan Yasser”, from Babylon Governorate, on the list of 100 technical women who deserve to be watched in the world for the year 2023.

The DMC explained that this initiative came as part of a program to raise the level of diverse leaders in the field of technology, by identifying their innovations, as these personalities were able to “achieve excellence, innovate the industry, and show leadership,” according to the description of the organization.

The DMC stated that the organization received hundreds of nominations from all over the world, and the organization chose the most prominent names according to the criteria it adopts in the course of its work.

In a special statement to the Digital Media Center, Fatima said that she is working hard to leave a positive impact on society, and she aspires to have her name in the future not different from the importance of the late Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid.

It is worth noting that Fatima Hassan Yasser, 26 years old, is an Iraqi young woman who holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Babylon and the founder of the first project to empower women in the field of technology, IRAQI IT WOMEN, in 2018 in Iraq. She is a trainer with the One Million Arab Programmer initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2019.
