Baghdad The seismic observatories recorded at dawn today, Wednesday, the occurrence of two earthquakes in each of the governorates of Diyala and Dohuk in the Kurdistan region.
The seismic observatories, “the first earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.1 on the Richter scale, occurred in the borders of Qasr Shirin Iran, 11 km northeast of Khanaqin district, at dawn today, 6/2/2021, at 1:14:22 local time.
An earthquake measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale occurred on the Turkish border, 73 km northeast of Dohuk, at dawn today, at 1:35:38 local time.
There were no reports of damage from the two tremors at the time of writing.
